3080 hrs. TT Airframe.   1736 TT Engine, 1182 Since Top Overhaul and 985 Since Lower Overhaul.  1182 hrs. TT Propeller, “0” Since Overhaul.  180 HP conversion done in Dec. 1984 @ 1898 Hrs.

NOTE: STC # SA1186NW allows the option of engine change only to 180 HP or changing the spar for the “Full Tiger” conversion, with 2400 lb. GW & Limitations upgrade, which this airplane has.

AVIONICS:

Collins AMR-350 Audio Panel w/ MB (TSO), VHF-251 / VIR-351 / IND-351 / GLS-350 G/S (TSO),VHF-251 / VIR-351 / IND-350 Com-Nav, TDR-950 Transponder (TSO) / Encoder. King KR-86 ADF, KN-65A DME (TSO), Narco ELT-10 (remote act.), Avionics Master Switch. PSEngineering PS-1000 II 4 place intercom.

OTHER STUFF:

Electronics International 4 cyl. EGT/CHT + OAT, & Carb. Temp. (Manual Select). Mitchell Century 1 Autopilot with tracking to navs.  New Paint; Red, White & Blue. New side windows and a good 2 year old windshield.  New interior white plastic & reconditioned black parts. The interior is from an original 1979 Tiger with about 100 hours use. It has been sealed and stored since removed from wind damaged plane in 1982.  (looks like brand new). The rudder tip is the red Lexan with enclosed beacon and it has wing tip strobes. Other options are full Wheel Fairings, Cabin Entry Steps, Long Range Tanks (52 GAL.), Map Lite, Alcor Vernier Mixture, New Throttle Cable (McFarlane), New Carb. Heat Cable, New Panel Face, Refurbished Control Yokes with Pilot’s Push to Talk, Blue Sky Sun Visors.

All work done by Air Mods N.W., Granite Falls, WA , who specialize in only Grumman American Light Aircraft product support and maintenance. Their specialty is reconditioning these fine aircraft and providing World wide parts & information support. Co-Owner, Ken Blackman, is a founder of the International Owner’s Association, “The AYA”, and has been involved with the product line for over 30 years. Known as “The Grumman Guru”, Ken was one of the first to develop modifications for them and was within the top 3 dealerships in the US during the late 1970’s. Ken and his partner, Don Andrew have operated at the present location since 1985. Ken operated on Paine Field, Everett, WA under Skytrek Aviation (’75 - ’82) and Ameromod Corporation (’82 - ’85).
